This three-episode mini series explores the childhood and early works of Fryderyk Chopin. In this episode I talk about about his parents, his first and only piano teacher, his performance debut and the first composition. You will hear Chopin's first polonaises, written at age 8 and 12. While you are at it, you will learn a bit about the turbulent period in the history of Poland.
