In the final pre-concert talk of the season, the Grand Piano Series lecturer in residence Magdalena Baczewska explores the timelessness, universality, and enduring relevance of Chopin’s music. Magdalena will talk about how Chopin’s Mazurkas and Polonaises became a symbol of resistance and national identity, and how his harmonic language, a unique blend of lyricism and emotional depth paved the way for future generations of composers.
